Mansilla plantea su desacuerdo: si bien es incipiente, aclara, el arte argentino cuenta con “escritores anteriores y posteriores a la Revolución de Mayo”, figuras como Miguel Cané, entre otros. Tampoco acuerda con Pellegrini sobre el tema de la amnistía (en línea con esta valoración del perdón, en otras páginas breves Mansilla planteará su oposición a la pena de muerte).
